Sruly Scheff hails from Brooklyn, NY, but putting aside a love for
pastrami, has transcended his hometown borough. Sruly is known
for his ability to work with people and high school age boys are his
specialty. Currently, Sruly is the dorm counselor for Yehiva Zichron
Aryeh in Bayswater, NY. Sruly combines caring, dedication, wit and
aplomb to understand each situation from the boy's perspective,
making himself a popular destination for anyone in need of some
friendship and advice. This keeps Sruly very busy; who besides for
keeping a full time Beis Medrash schedule also serves as an
administrator for Camp Yam Surf in San Diego, CA. Sruly's prior
camp experiences include Assistant Special Events Coordinator, as
well as a Canteen Director in Camp Mogen Avraham. Sruly spent
the last three summers as the Activities and Canteen Director in
Camp Keshet in Los Angeles, CA. This summer, Sruly is excited to
seamlessly bring together his leadership skills, camp experience,
passion for working with high school age boys, and appreciation of
some good pastrami, in his position as Head Waiter for Camp
Kochavim.
