| RABBI YEHUDA MARYLES Head Counselor Yehuda Maryles has been working with children of all ages for the past 15 years, and he is very good at what he does. He has a degree in Psychology and Talmudic Studies, but his greatest asset in the field of Chinuch is his personality and his ability to relate to his charges - from the very young to teenagers to young adults. His “expertise” in Chinuch is knowing how to treat each child as an individual, an IMPORTANT individual. Rabbi Maryles’s experience in the Camping World includes Camps Romimu, Naarim, Yesharim, and Nageela. Amazingly, he is still in contact through phone calls, e-mails and letters, with former campers, from as long as 15 years ago! Some are married and have children, but contact Rabbi Maryles to just say “Hi!” or for a good, long SHMOOZE. During the year Reb Yehuda is the Director of Outreach for JEP Long Island. His reputation is known far and wide as the best there is in giving kids a great time in a safe environment. Busy as he is, Reb Yehuda was also was the Producer of the recently released JEP/Nageela CD "I'm A Jew". Rabbi Maryles expects to bring the best experience he’s developed from each of the camps he's worked at in the past, to the already world-famous Camp Kochavim, the camp where the Campers and the Staff will have the time of their lives, IY”H this summer. We look forward to Rabbi Maryles’s debut in Camp Kochavim and are confident that with Yehuda Maryles there, there will never be a dull moment! |
